Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity is looking to appoint a Corporate New Business Manager to join their highly successful corporate fundraising team in identify, building and driving new business development opportunities, with a focus on commercial activities, including Cause Related Marketing, event/campaign sponsorship and commercial fundraising campaigns in line with our brand and values.
This is an exciting time for a talented and experienced Corporate New Business Manager to join the highly successful and creative new business team at Rainbow Trust. The team has a proven track record in winning prestigious corporate partnerships which include: Deutsche Bank, Nomura, Invesco, Hailo, Waterstones, Café Rouge, Evans & Knight Frank. Responsible for a third of the charities income the team are driven, highly motivated & results orientated.
Achieving results with and through people, your proven persuasive sales skills and ability to negotiate as well as manage expectations will be recognised in our high-performing organisation. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, your focus will be on securing charity of the year and multi-year high value partnerships, researching, identifying and wining beneficiary events and cause related marketing partnerships.
You will cultivate and steward employees within targeted companies to establish key champions with a view to building a strong position for Rainbow Trust during staff nomination/votes as well as developing and making winning proposals and pitches as well as securing contracted commitments. Adaptable and proactive, you will be an influential communicator who enjoys inspiring and collaborating with others. A compelling public speaker, you develop creative commercial ideas and convert these into winning pitches to meet your targets.
Naturally warm and enthusiastic, you will thrive working on multiple projects and achieving success by engaging the commitment of others. Educated to at least A Level you will have a proven track record of securing new business partnerships for charities or highly demonstrable, transferable skills from the corporate sector
You will have experience of the charity sector and have a proactive approach to researching and initiating new business opportunities, you will have experience of presenting and winning new business pitches, writing winning applications and proposals. You have a proven track record in winning significant corporate partnerships with a value over £50,000.
Strong networking and presentation skills will support your motivational leadership style. Confident use of MS Office will be essential to the successful candidate.
