Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity provides emotional and practical support for families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. This Sunday Times Top 100 Not-For-Profit organisation is looking to appoint a Head of Corporate Partnerships to lead a dynamic team of corporate fundraisers to build, develop and drive significant levels of income through new business opportunities and existing partnerships to reach and exceed an agreed fundraising target.

Your persuasive, enthusiastic approach to achieving goals by engaging the commitment of others, will be recognised in our high-performing organisation. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will take responsibility for driving growth through new business and existing corporate partnerships, as well as establishing long term value through strategic corporate partnerships that will help us deliver our business objectives.
With good commercial and financial acumen, and an urgency for results, you will develop the Corporate strategy and annual budget as well as collate, analyse and present timely monthly management reports. An experienced people manager, you delegate effectively and stimulate others into action to ensure you recruit and retain high calibre individuals. An outgoing networker you will attend and represent the charity at relevant events and act as an ambassador for the organisation.
A timely and practical decision maker, you thrive working both independently and cooperatively, and delivering results with and through others. Having hands-on experience of corporate fundraising, you are confident in the application of relevant charity law. Your demonstrable success in meeting financial targets evidences that you recognise when to make the fundraising ‘ask’ and know how to lead the annual budget process. An innovative influencer, you can apply your clear, creative written communication skills to produce convincing presentations that engage internal and external stakeholders to identify new leads and corporate prospects
You understand, through your knowledge of relationship management and good supporter care, that building rapport with others is essential. Having held a management position in a charitable environment you have the ability to multi-task and learn quickly to facilitate change. Applications will be particularly welcome from those who have managed volunteers/interns. Educated to degree level (or equivalent) your confident use of MSOffice and CRM databases will support your practical, action-orientated working style.
The post will be head office based however there will some UK travel required for which a driving licence is preferable. There will be a requirement for some flexible working to support occasional evening and weekend events.
