Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity is looking to appoint a Head of Engagement to manage our mass engagement and acquisition strategy.

Your enthusiastic, collaborative approach to achieving goals through knowledge-sharing and effective delegation will be recognised in our high-performing organisation. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Marketing, you will take the lead on devising and implementing Rainbow Trust’s engagement and acquisition strategy to raise the profile of Rainbow Trust amongst key external audiences to engage, recruit and develop supporters to generate income to agreed targets.

A people-focused manager, you will thrive working on multiple projects simultaneously and achieving success through your sincere and persuasive motivational style. You will lead, manage and co-ordinate marketing, communication and associated fundraising activities to:

  • Create, manage and promote a portfolio of innovative ideas, campaigns, activities and events to engage and inspire, acquire and retain supporters
  • Raise awareness of Rainbow Trust, what we do and the impact we have
  • Help develop a digital culture and skills

Ideally educated to degree level (or equivalent) you probably hold a professional marketing qualification and have a thorough understanding of up-to-date marketing & communications techniques, trends and practices.

You will have significant management experience with strategic and operational planning responsibility and a solid background in brand strategy. Applications will be particularly welcome from those in the charity/not-for-profit sector with a fundraising background and those who can demonstrate success maximising digital communications channels. Your strong presentation and IT skills will support your self-confident, engaging working style.
