This Sunday Times Top 100 Not-For-Profit organisation is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team. You will be working in a friendly team, for an inspiring organisation, reporting to the Director of HR.
This is an exciting time for a conscientious and outgoing HR Assistant to join Rainbow Trust as we are an ambitious charity with a clear vision for growth and a strong sense of values. Your collaborative and thorough approach to producing accurate and high-quality work will be recognised in our high-performing organisation.
This role is perfect for someone who has an interest in pursuing a career in HR as you will be key to the smooth running of the HR department, with responsibility for providing a comprehensive and effective HR administration service across a full generalists’ remit, including recruitment processes, contractual documentation and induction.

Your strong oral and written communication skills will empower you to respond promptly to enquiries, maintain accurate records on the Human Resources database, maintaining strictest confidence and be confident in delivering training.
You are fully competent with the MS Office suite of products, which you will comfortably use to produce reports and update relevant websites. Your experience with a database and Office 365 will enable you to maintain employee records and manage the general administration for the HR team.
You understand that confidentiality is vital and harmonious working relationships are important to being a helpful and supportive team member. Applications will be particularly welcome from those who have worked or volunteered in a charity and have experience of working in a Human Resources team. Educated to A-level (or equivalent) you will build expertise through a commitment to your continuing professional development. This role would be particularly suitable for someone looking to develop a career in Human Resources. Some UK travel may be required.
