Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity provides emotional and practical support for families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. This Sunday Times Top 100 Not-For-Profit organisation is looking to appoint a Regional Fundraising Assistant to administratively support the Regional Fundraising team in delivering a broad portfolio of local fundraising activities including volunteer fundraisers, community groups, events, and corporate partners.
This is an exciting time for a conscientious and outgoing administrator to join Rainbow Trust as we are an ambitious charity with a clear vision for growth and a strong sense of values. Your collaborative and thorough approach to achieving goals by working patiently to accepted standards will be recognised in our high-performing organisation. Reporting to the Regional Fundraising Manager, you will take responsibility for thanking and banking, mailings, reporting and providing excellent administrative support.
Along with ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the fundraising office administration, you will assist with supporting certain elements of fundraising income streams including cash collections, recruiting for sports and challenges, event support and cheque presentations. Having supervised people, you will be an outgoing, friendly communicator who is considerate of the needs of others. Your strong oral and written communication skills will empower you to respond promptly to enquiries and deliver first class donor and supporter care.
Consistent and accurate, you thrive on seeing work through to completion within established guidelines. Having held an administrative or back office support role (preferably in an SME), you are fully competent with the MS Office suite of products, which you will comfortably use to produce reports, presentations and manage mail merges. Your experience with a database and Office 365 will enable you to maintain ThankQ (our fundraising database) and manage the administration of specific annual appeals and campaigns.
You understand, having worked in a customer or client relations environment, that co-operation and a harmonious team are important to delivering team targets. Applications will be particularly welcome from those who have worked or volunteered in the third sector. Educated to A-level (or equivalent) you will build expertise through a commitment to your continuing professional development.
To apply please send your CV and a covering letter highlighting why your application should be considered above others to email@example.com
Interviews will take place at our head office in Leatherhead during the week beginning 31st July 2017. We will only contact those applicants who have been successful.
An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this post.
