Case study - Hanover Dairies

Hanover Dairies has worked alongside Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity since 2008, after owner and Managing Director, Trevor Hanover, approached Rainbow Trust after finding us online and admiring the work we do. Since then the company and Trevor have gone on to raise over £204,000 to support seriously ill children and their families.

In 2008, Hanover Dairies took on their first challenge and Trevor walked 240 miles through the highlands and lowlands of Scotland, raising a phenomenal £20,000. Since then they have gone on to complete all sorts of challenges and have hosted a series of fundraising events, including their Annual Hanover Dairies Ball.

“We chose to work with Rainbow Trust as I think they are a particularly worthwhile charity. After seeing the work they do for families in our local area, I could see just how important the services they provide are to families that need them.”

The fundraising doesn’t stop there…

Trevor and Hanover Dairies continue to support Rainbow Trust in a number of different ways and in June 2017, four families we support will be taking a trip to Centre Parcs for a family holiday. Trevor has been keen to contribute in this way and is personally funding the trip, also managing to secure sponsorship from London Property Developer, Terry Daniels, so the families have an unforgettable holiday experience.

“I wanted to give something back in this is way because I feel so lucky that my children and grandchildren are healthy. The idea is to not only give the child a break but also the parents and grandparents. I wanted to go through Rainbow Trust because they can identify the families that may not be able to have a family holiday without my help. Hanover Dairies staff and I will be transporting each family to and from Centre Parcs, and I hope that it will give us a chance to see how Rainbow Trust operate. This can only motivate us to raise more funds in the future.” Trevor Hanover, Owner and Managing Director of Hanover Dairies
