Sophie was diagnosed with leukaemia exactly two years ago, when she was seven years old.

Soon after her diagnosis, she was put into a coma to help fight infection. Her family were told that she’d have to wake up on her own, if she was going to survive.

Nicola, her mum, had been in hospital for weeks, until she met Sabrina, their Rainbow Trust Family Support Worker, who helped the family realise they didn’t have to cope alone.
