This fund has been set up for Denis Edward (Ted) Scott-Smith
29 Apr 1930 - 25 Nov 2017
Denis Edward Scott-Smith, known to most as Ted and to his family as Tub or Tubby, was a proud father of three daughters and a doting grandfather of six. He was a beloved, well-known figure to people in both his hometown of Uxbridge and in Bashley Caravan Park, where he spent many summers, and where his grandchildren were always extremely excited to stay with nanna and granddad.
Ted was the kind of grandad who would arrive for a visit, get the children overexcited and give them sweets behind their parents’ backs and then leave with a smile on his face as his daughters tried to calm them down. He always adored his grandchildren and remained unfalteringly proud of their achievements all the way through to the end of his life, taking an avid interest in their careers, hobbies, and relationships.
His generosity of spirit and good humour live on in his daughters and grandchildren. We have set up this page so that people can donate to Rainbow Trust in his memory.
“Ted would have chosen Rainbow Trust to help support families with children when it's most needed.”
We've raised £740 for Rainbow Trust so far
