Rainbow Trust’s new report, Hidden Savings, shows how our tailored support not only helps the whole family to cope better but also saves public services around £2 million per year.
Rainbow Trust support can, for example, prevent families from missing hospital appointments, help siblings and parents to manage their emotional health, and can reduce pressure on NHS patient transport.
But our support is undervalued and underfunded. At the moment only three per cent of Rainbow Trust’s funding comes from the public purse.
