Your role may include:
• Contacting local businesses and attractions willing to donate their products, time or tickets to families in the South-West area.
• Supporting the team to grow their presence in the local area by networking with local organisations.
• Assisting with coordinating family events especially around the school holidays.
What we’re looking for:
• A confident and professional communicator
• Happy to work alongside our staff as part of the team
• Outgoing and happy to use initiative to grow opportunities for the team
• Confident using IT and Microsoft software
• An understanding of the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality
Your commitment:
• This is a flexible role where we encourage volunteers to choose their hours to fit in with other commitments and volunteers will be able to carry out much of their role remotely. The requirements of the role will ramp up leading up to school holidays.
• We are looking for a volunteer for a minimum of 6 hours per month
Training and Support:
• A Rainbow Trust member of staff will guide and support you in in this role
• You will receive a full induction to Rainbow Trust and a programme of training relevant to your role
• Training will cover topics such as Safeguarding, GDPR, health and safety and confidentiality
