Calling all rugby enthusiasts! Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity is holding an exclusive rugby event, Inside the World Cup on Wednesday 9 September in London, with special guest host, England rugby legend Austin Healey.
The special event will allow guests the opportunity to take part in a Q&A session with Austin as well as enjoying a three-course dinner and the chance to bid in an exciting live auction, which will include a range of sport-related prizes.
The evening event will take place in the heart of the city at the renowned Balls Brothers Minster Exchange, a week before the start of the 2015 Rugby World Cup. As well as a great opportunity for keen rugby fans to get together and enjoy being in the company of a former World Cup star, this event is perfect for client entertaining.
Austin is a longstanding supporter and patron of the charity, which provides emotional and practical support for families caring for a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.
“With the countdown on until the Rugby World Cup, this event is a great opportunity for rugby fans to get the low-down before it all kicks off, while raising funds and supporting a great cause.” Austin Healey
Emma Haines, Director of Marketing and Fundraising at Rainbow Trust says: “We’re so pleased that Austin will be joining us for this special night. Events like this are so important for us as a charity to raise awareness of the support we provide families with a seriously ill child. Whether you’re a rugby player, supporter or enthusiast, we would love for you to join us for a spectacular evening with a rugby legend.”
