Guests at the exclusive Corks & Couture fashion event at The Savoy, London dug deep to raise vital funds on Friday evening. Style-savvy, wine connoisseurs enjoyed an evening of couture fashion and fine wine, raising over £250,000!
Sports broadcaster John Inverdale hosted the event, guests participated in wine tasting of exceptional vintages from Bordeaux, Burgundy and the Rhône Valley, supplied by FICOFI. They also enjoyed fine dining and had access to an exclusive fashion show from renowned designer Amanda Wakeley and up-and-coming British designer Anna Mason. The evening concluded with an auction, live music and dancing.
The evening raised an impressive £250,000, enough to fund support for over 150 families for an entire year, the equivalent of funding a further six Family Support Workers.
Emma Haines Director of Marketing and fundraising said, “Corks & Couture was a wonderful event which saw guests really dig deep for Rainbow Trust and help us mark this hugely significant 30th milestone. The money raised will go directly towards helping us support more families who care for a child who is seriously ill.”
