Rainbow Trust has teamed up with Action Challenge to offer relay teams an exclusive 50% off entry for its brand new London 2 Cambridge Challenge, taking place 29-30 August 2015.
The London 2 Cambridge Challenge is the newest of five events in the Ultra Challenge Series, linking two of the UK’s most historic cities and starting nearby the Olympic Park. For a limited time only, Rainbow Trust is offering a half price discount of £50 entry for participants entering as a relay team of four people.
Teams can choose to walk, jog or run the 100km endurance trek depending on experience. We are encouraging teams to sign up before the mid-July deadline. Participants will benefit from fundraising and training advice, dedicated support from the charity’s Events team and a high quality running vest or t-shirt.
Emma Haines, Director of Marketing and Fundraising at Rainbow Trust says:
“We are really excited to be part of the brand new Ultra Challenge Series. Whether you are a first time challenger or an experienced runner, the London 2 Cambridge Challenge is the perfect choice if you’re looking for something different to do this August Bank Holiday. Events like this are vital for us to ensure families with terminally ill children continue to receive the everyday support they need.”
Rainbow Trust is an official Event Partner for the challenge and has three care teams supporting families in the surrounding areas along the route., we’re hoping to raise £10,000 from the partnership, which would enable us to support five families for an entire year.
William Irwin, Charity Relationship Manager at Action Challenge says:
“We’re delighted to be partnering with Rainbow Trust and hope this offer will encourage people to take on this unique challenge, to help them continue their inspiring work helping families in need.”
