Gymboree East Dulwich raised £500 in a Christmas raffle bringing the total they have raised to £1,975 for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, which supports families caring for a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.
Gymboree East Dulwich Manager Jennie Delaney said:
“Thank you to all our members who generously donated to our annual Christmas raffle, and to all the local businesses who kindly donated prizes. We have so far raised £1,975! It makes it even more special knowing that the money we have raised will help other children who are so unwell and their families.”
Both Gymboree and Rainbow Trust celebrated milestone birthdays in 2016 with Gymboree turning 40 and Rainbow Trust celebrating 30 years of care. Gymboree, the world’s foremost provider of children’s developmental programmes, committed all its annual fundraising in 2016 to helping its Charity of The Year partner Rainbow Trust.
Emma Haines, Director of Marketing and Fundraising at Rainbow Trust, said:
“We are absolutely delighted that Gymboree have chosen to support us. We want to thank Gymboree East Dulwich for helping us raise much needed funds so that our Family Support Workers can continue to help families in whatever way they can, to make life a little bit easier for them.”
