A brand new card game, History Heroes: Children, packed full of fun historical facts about inspirational children throughout history, is set to benefit Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.
History Heroes: Children is now available to buy, with 20p from the sale of every pack going to help Rainbow Trust support families with a seriously ill child.
‘Children’ is the latest in the series of History Heroes games. Previous packs have featured Scientists; Sports Heroes; Explorers and World War One Heroes. The History Heroes: Children game focuses on under 18s who have carved a place in history, often changing a global perspective or the lives of those around them. From the ancient ‘boy king’ Tutankhamun, to present day campaigner Malala Yousafzai.
The card games are designed with the whole family in mind. Each card features facts of varying levels of difficulty. Players who guess the hero correctly, capture the card. The winner is the person with the most cards by the end of the game.
The idea is simple, but each card is meticulously researched by creator Alexandra Ehrmann and her History Heroes team. Alex said,
“We know the educational benefits our fun game can bring. The new cards show players of all ages what extraordinary feats children have accomplished throughout history often in the face of great adversity. You don’t have to be famous or change the world to be inspirational though, as the children, supported by Rainbow Trust, demonstrate. We’re honored to help Rainbow Trust and the families they support. By buying the History Heroes: Children game, people will also be making a difference by helping to support the vital work of Rainbow Trust.”
