Over 460 of the UK Motor Claims Industries’ finest, attended the 7th Annual I Love Claims Networking Lunch on 20 January 2017, raising over £55,500 for us as their charity partner.
The generosity of the guests at the event meant I Love Claims has now raised over £500,000 for us in the past 5 years, they are going to keep on supporting us until they hit £1 million.
Hosted by Jonny Gould, with special guest Paul Merson to entertain the guests, the lunch was a roaring success and great fun was had by all. Rainbow Trust, had a team of representatives in attendance, including Luci Green, one of our West London Family Support Workers, who told the guests about the amazing work she and our Family Support Workers do.
ILC has supported Rainbow Trust for five years, day from lunches, Golf Days, Awards Nights and Car Rallies hosted by and attended by many ILC members and their companies. The industry have really got behind the charity since the partnership began and increase the funds raised year on year, through various events.
Chris Ashworth, Founder of ILC, comments:
“I’m absolutely delighted that the collective efforts of the motor claims industry have achieved our original goal of raising over £500k for the amazing Rainbow Trust charity. The list of people that have played a part in this achievement is endless but I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you.
There have been so many individual efforts and events and we’ve had some amazing times together on this incredible journey. The motor insurance industry does not have the strongest reputation with consumers but this has been a great example of collaboration and working together to make a difference.
I’m really excited that we have set a new goal of £1 million and look forward to the industry pulling together to achieve the second half of our goal even more quickly than the first!”
