Further to an employee nomination, pitch and voting process, we are delighted to announce a new corporate partnership with one of the largest independent investment managers in the UK, Invesco Perpetual.

The partnership was launched at Invesco’s Staff Christmas Party on the 17 December, held at the Intercontinental Park Lane. Attendees on the evening raised nearly £20,000 bidding on silent auction prizes - amazing! One of which was to take a sledge hammer to Invesco’s Head Office - Loddon House, Perpetual Park as part of a redevelopment project. The experience went for an incredible £3,250 which was generously matched by Invesco’s then CEO, Mark Armour.

Invesco’s fundraising plans for the next 11 months include a payroll giving campaign centred on the end of the Tax Year, a staff Summer Party and numerous sports challenges and fundraising campaigns in the office!

We’re so excited to be working with Invesco, not least because it coincides with a very exciting milestone for Rainbow Trust - our 30th Anniversary. The partnership is set to raise enough money to support 50 families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness for a whole year. In 30 years, our name and our mission has never changed. We are there for families from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond for as long as a family needs us and it is only with the support of companies like Invesco that we are able to do this.
