Darts management and events firm to raise funds to help families with terminally ill children.
MODUS Sports, the world’s leading management company for professional darts players and promoter of professional events and exhibitions, has committed its fundraising efforts to help the charity. MODUS will be doing various things to help raise money, including auctioning various items at their darts events and donating a table at one of their biggest events to Rainbow Trust, who MODUS have also pledged to promote in a number of ways, including giving the charity a page in their event programmes.
Jason Thame at Modus Sports said:
“We have raised funds for various charities in the past but this is the first time we have announced an ongoing partnership. We had a discussion in the office and Rainbow Trust game out on top. Their work is invaluable in supporting families who are going through one of the most difficult experiences possible and if we can help in some small way, we are happy to. We put on several events over the course of year and aim to raise as much money as possible for Rainbow Trust and the families they help during the course of these events.”
Emma Haines, Director of Fundraising at Rainbow Trust said:
“We are absolutely delighted to have been selected as MODUS Sports chosen charity. The partnership will have a huge impact for Rainbow Trust, enabling us to support more families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. This is also a great partnership to help us spread the word about Rainbow Trust.”
