Rainbow Trust’s 6th annual Trust in Fashion event took place on 11th March at The Savoy, London. The prestigious fashion show with a conscience raised over £63,000, an amazing total!
Among the 250 guests were a bevy of celebrities including Dame Barbara Windsor, Rainbow Trust Ambassador Hugo Taylor, Natalie Pinkham, Melanie Sykes, Julian and Emma Fellowes and Pandora Christie. They attended to lend their support and raise awareness of the charity’s work with families with a life threatened or terminally ill child.
This year’s event, celebrating Rainbow Trust’s 30th Anniversary, showcased the latest collections from prestigious designer, Amanda Wakeley, London designer Anna Mason and bespoke diamond jeweller, Boodles. Guests enjoyed The Savoy’s famous afternoon tea, exclusive fashion shows, a live Q&A with Amanda Wakeley and had the opportunity to shop an array of brands in a boutique pop-up-shop.
Renowned designer Amanda Wakeley said, “Today was incredible. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase new trends and enjoy shopping and champagne, all for a great cause. Celebrating Rainbow Trust’s 30th Birthday made it even more special. There was a great positivity about the event and I feel honoured to be part of something that will make such a difference to the children and families that Rainbow Trust supports.”
Emma Haines, Director of Marketing and Fundraising at Rainbow Trust said: “Today’s event has raised over £63,000 which will make a huge difference to the charity. The generosity of the guests attending was mind blowing and we hope that everyone who attended enjoyed the day as much as we did.”
