UK Art Lantern Festival have announced they will be supporting Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity through a series of bucket collections during the festival period, taking place on 5 February – 20 April 2016 at The Trafford Centre, to raise money to support families caring for a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.
The festival invites anyone to enjoy a fun-filled event which merges the culture creativity and inspiration between China and U.K. Along with food and hand-made gifts, the festivals main attraction features approximately 8 acres of lantern lit walkways, allowing visitors to be able to travel through a wide range of lantern displays ranging from traditional Chinese lanterns, flora and fauna and architectural displays, including UK and Greater Manchester landmarks.
Volunteers will be there on dates throughout the festival and with help from visitors we hope to raise money and awareness of Rainbow Trust.
Tova Leech, Regional Fundraiser for the North West at Rainbow Trust, says:
